Owasso Police Search For Man They Say Robbed CVS Pharmacy

An armed robbery at an Owasso drug store has police searching for a man Thursday.

Owasso police responded to the CVS Pharmacy on East 96th Street North at 8:30 a.m.

According to witnesses, the robber indicated he had a gun and presented a note demanding prescription medications, then ran away, police said.

Nearby schools were placed on lockdown as a safety precaution. Police are conducting a saturated search in the area and K-9 officers have been on scene.

The man is described as white, wearing a white sweater or hoodie and a dark-colored winter stocking cap.
