Tulsa Rehab Tech Arrested For Alleged Sexual Battery Of Patient

A medical technician who worked at a Tulsa rehab facility has been arrested for reported sexual battery of a female patient.

Tulsa Sex Crimes detective and members of the Northern Oklahoma Violent Crimes Task Force arrested Stafeno Deon Wartson, 42, on complaints of sexual battery and failure to register as a sex offender.

A news release states a female patient at 12 & 12, 6333 East Skelly Drive, told a staff member that Wartson entered her room on April 5, 2014, and touched her inappropriately.

"The victim said she rebuffed his advances, but Wartson touched her repeatedly," police say.

Wartson was sent home after the complaint was made, and Tulsa Police investigating the incident learned he was a sex offender who had failed to register.
