Wagoner County Man Arrested After Sex Offender Compliance Check

A Wagoner County man was arrested after officials found violations during a sex offender compliance check.

According to a report Wagoner County Deputies were conducting sex offender registration check at the 1700 block of South 267 East Avenue in Catoosa, where they located Robert Mark Chapman.

The report says that during the check, officers noticed Chapman, a registered sex offender, possessed items of child pornography on the computer.

Investigators obtained a search warrant and reportedly located other items associated with children, as well as marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

The report says deputies arrested 52-year-old Chapman for possession of marijuana, possession of child pornography and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He is being held at the Wagoner County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
