Car Slams Into Tulsa Home Near Gilcrease Road

A Tulsa woman got the scare of her life this afternoon when a car crashes into her house.

Police said a woman wasn't paying attention as she pulled out of a parking lot and accidentally slammed on the accelerator.

She went speeding across Edison near Gilcrease Road.

The driver hit a tree before crashing into the house.

Police said if it weren't for the tree, she could have gone into the house.

Amazingly, neither the driver nor person in the house were hurt.
