Tulsa Police hope the public can help them identify two men who took off with $20,000 in cash from Abby's Cash for Gold. The store's surveillance video captured images of the men as they stole the money.

Police say the two men first went to the store in the 4100 block of South Yale Avenue at about 3:30 p.m. March 26, 2014. They said they had multiple gold chain necklaces to sell and were told to return at a later time.

The suspects came back and showed a different employee the same gold chains. The employee placed nearly $20,000 in cash on the counter in front of her as she tested and weighed the gold, according to a news release.

When the employee turned away, police say one of the men switched the real gold chains with fake gold chains. When the woman confronted them with the switch, one of the men grabbed the cash off the counter and both ran from the store.

The employee jumped over the counter to pursue them and saw the two men get into an older model, white SUV.

If you know anything that can help police find these two men, call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
