Tulsa Man Convicted For Peeping Through Holes In Neighbor's Ceiling

A Tulsa man was has been sentenced after he pleaded guilty to burglary and Peeping Tom charges.

A Tulsa man was sentenced Monday after he pleaded guilty to burglary and Peeping Tom charges. Carlos Perez was arrested in October, 2013, after maintenance personnel found holes cut into the ceiling of his neighbor's apartment at Tower Crossing Apartments in the 4400 block of South 109th East Avenue.

Court records show Perez admitted to cutting several holes in his neighbor's ceiling to watch her, and also entered her apartment to steal underwear and other items.

The woman said personal items including had been disappearing for more than a year before Tulsa Police made the arrest. Police recovered woman's panties, a wig, unused condoms and pornographic material in the attic.

On Monday, Judge William Kellough sentenced Perez to an 8-year suspended sentence on one count of second degree burglary and three counts of Peeping Tom.

Perez is being held for Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
