Driver In Police Pursuit Crashes Into Tulsa Motel

Tulsa police arrested a man late Friday night after they say he led them on a chase and only stopped after running the car into a local motel.

Police say 27-year-old Mark Callshim crashed into the Rest Inn on East Admiral Place after he ran multiple stop signs and hit a parked car.

They originally tried to stop him for not having a tag light, but he now faces charges of possession of a stolen vehicle, hit and run and eluding.

Callshim served eight years in an Oklahoma penitentiary for armed robbery and was released about seven months ago.
