Tulsa Hurricane fans gathered at watch parties to watch their team win the Conference USA Championship and a trip to the NCAA tournament.
Tulsa beat Louisiana Tech 69-60 for the Conference USA title Saturday. It will be TU's first trip to the NCAA tournament in 11 years.
James Woodard led the team in scoring with 27 points.
There will be an official NCAA Selection Show Watch Party at the Reynolds Center starting at 4:30 p.m. Sunday. The NCAA Selection Show starts at 5 p.m. Sunday on CBS, and TU will find out its NCAA destination.
Tulsa went into the game as the number 2 seed while LA Tech was number 1. The Hurricane was riding a big winning streak - landing in the W column in the last nine games. That includes match ups with Rice, Old Dominion, UTEP and Tulane.

Tulsa (20-12, 13-3 C-USA) was playing in its first championship game since 2009, when the Hurricane faced the Memphis Tigers. LA Tech (27-6, 13-3 C-USA) is in its first season as a member of the conference.
The two teams met on February 6th. That game ended with LA Tech up 66-61 and was the Hurricane's last loss of the regular season.
