Semi Loaded With Hay Hits Bridge, Rolls Over On Tulsa Highway

Tulsa Police say a semi hauling hay hit a railroad overpass on Highway 169, tipping the trailer onto its side and knocking several bales onto the roadway. 

It happened in the southbound lanes of Highway 169 just north of Pine at about 4:30 a.m.  

A southbound car hit one of the bales lying in the roadway. Police said the car's driver was not injured.

Firefighters were able to move the hay off the highway but the outside lane was closed for several hours.  All of the lanes have since been reopened to southbound traffic.

They say the driver of the semi was not injured in the crash.
