A city of Tulsa crew working on a small water line break in the midtown area caused another problem late Tuesday.
Officials say the water department crew accidentally hit a natural gas line just before 9 p.m. near 15th and Gillette.
The city crew called in an ONG crew to repair the cut. ONG says 14 customers were affected by the cut, but there were no evacuations.
The work forced the city to reduce traffic down to one lane in each direction, and move them both to the westbound lanes.
The city says drivers need to be aware of two large holes in the eastbound lanes at 15th and Gillette and 15th and Lewis until the repair crew finishes fixing the water pipe.
