Police Say Duo Stole From Shoe Store, Punched Clerk In Face

The pair took two pair of shoes, police said, and when an employee tried to stop them, the man punched her in face several times and grabbed her hair.

Police are looking for a man and woman who they say were caught stealing from a Tulsa shoe store.

It happened about 8 p.m. on February 18 at the Rack Room Shoes at 7403 S. Olympia Ave.

The duo took two pair of shoes without paying, police said, and when a female employee tried to stop them, the man punched the employee in the face several times and grabbed her hair.

Investigators say the man then pushed the employee and hit her several more times.

The thieves ran to a waiting car and took off.

The vehicle is described as a newer model, red four-door Mercedes C-Class.

Police are looking for a black male, 25-29 years old, about 5-foot-7 to 5-9 and 160-170 pounds with medium complexion and curly hair. The woman with him is described as black, 25-29 years old, 5-7 to 5-9, about 220 pounds with a medium complexion.
