An Oklahoma man who sentenced to death for a murder he didn't commit, has died.
Greg Wilhoit was convicted of murdering his wife and spent four years on death row until forensic evidence cleared him.
John Grisham told Wilhoit's story in his first non-fiction book, "The Innocent Man."
Wilhoit spent the last years of his life living in Sacramento, California and working with groups devoted to ending executions. Wilhoit grew up in Tulsa where he graduated from Edison High School in 1972.
A memorial service is set for 1 p.m. Friday at the First United Methodist Church in Tulsa.
