The Tulsa Fire Department says gusty winds led to down power lines, power outages and a fire outside a tire store in the 8500 block of East Admiral Wednesday evening.

Firefighters was sent to Latino Tires at around 9 p.m.

They said a power line fell on a stack of tires outside the store sparking a fire. The fire was quickly extinguished. Fire officials said the store was not damaged in the fire.

Because of the downed power lines, Public Service Company of Oklahoma cut off service for several blocks surrounding the business. Power has since been restored.
