Tip Leads Police To Tulsa Man Charged With Rape, Kidnapping

Tulsa police arrested their Most Wanted suspect of the week after receiving a citizen tip on his location.

Jerry Tyrone LeBlanc, the Tulsa Police Department's Most Wanted for the week, has been taken into custody. LeBlanc is charged with first degree rape and kidnapping.

The crimes reportedly took place on December 19, 2013. LeBlanc was supposed to show up for court on January 10, 2014, but failed to appear.

LeBlanc was taken into custody around 10 a.m. in the 1700 block of East 14th Street after police received a tip about his location.

He was wanted on a $450,000 bond.

The Northern Oklahoma Violent Crimes Task Force made the arrest.
