Oversized Load Slides Off Semi Near Port Of Catoosa

Traffic on Highway 266 near the Port of Catoosa has been detoured after an oversized load slid off a truck onto the shoulder Tuesday morning.

Port officials say the oversized load is a heat exchanger and the incident happened just north of the main entrance.

The highway remains closed between Highway 167 and Keetonville Road while crews remove the heat exchanger.

Officials say there have been no reports of any injuries. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
