Cards, roses and chocolates are nice Valentines gifts, but some people need something more simple, a meal.
That's the gift hundreds of Tulsans in need received on Wednesday.
Day Center for the Homeless, the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma and the Schusterman Family Foundation came together for their 10th annual Valentine's Day Celebration.
This year was a special tribute to the man behind the entire event, Henry Zarrow.
Sharon Catalano, with the Center for the Homeless, said, "It's a special bitter sweet, his 98th birthday would've been today. When they first started the lunch in it was to honor Mr. Zarrow and for his work, not just here in the day center, but in the community as well, and to serve a special birthday gift in his honor.
About 500 people received a rose with their meal to let them know they are loved.
