Amazon's Fulfillment Center in Coffeyville, Kansas is one of six centers across the country looking for new workers.
Amazon announced Wednesday it's hiring for more than 2,500 new full-time jobs across the U.S.
"Last year, we hired more than 20,000 people into full-time jobs across our U.S. fulfillment centers – with more than half starting as seasonal employees," said Mike Roth, Amazon's vice president of North America operations.
"Today, we're excited to announce 2,500 full-time jobs, bringing new employment opportunities to local communities across the country."
Amazon says the new jobs are also available in Chester, Virginia; Columbia, South Carolina; Dupont, Washington; Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Petersburg, Virginia.
In its news release, the company said new employees will be offered a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare starting on day one of employment, as well as 401(k) matching and performance-based bonuses.
