The National Weather Service issued a Winter Weather Advisory for part of central and east central Oklahoma from 8 p.m. Monday until 10 a.m. Tuesday.
The advisory is for light snow and includes Adair, Cherokee, Creek, Hughes, Osage, Pawnee, Payne, Rogers, Tulsa and Wagoner.
It also includes a wintry mix of precipitation for Choctaw County.
The NWS says a band of snow is expected to move across the central part of the state Monday evening and early Tuesday. A dusting to an inch or so of snow may cover much of the advisory area.

"The snow will likely begin between 8 p.m. and midnight and continue off and on until around sunrise," said WARN Team Meteorologist Mike Grogan.
"Slick roadways may be the result, especially if we see a heavy burst of snow."
Early Monday, a band of snow fell across northeast Oklahoma and southeast Kansas.
