City Crews Finishing Up Water Line Break Repairs

The City of Tulsa crews are finishing repairs on the water line break at 21st Street and Wheeling. Water started gushing from the pavement near Utica Square Saturday afternoon.

Some Tulsa restaurants in the area were without water, but service has been restored.

City spokesperson Michelle Allen says traffic is again moving down 21st Street with two lanes open as of 1 p.m. Crews worked all night on the 16-inch line break, she said.

The line has been repaired and crews are filling the hole.

A water main break on Friday flooded a West Tulsa apartment complex. That leak was repaired at about 4 p.m. with water service returned to the affected units, Allen said.
