The Tulsa Police Department said Dayquan Williams tried to run before he was arrested.
"The warrant squad went out and did their job very well and located him because he had been a little difficult to find," said Tulsa Police Sergeant Mark Mears.
Mears believed Williams is behind a series of attacks. He said one of the teen's targets was the Agora Coffee House near 51st and Memorial.
"I am relieved to know he cannot harm anyone else right now," said Cheryl Almond, owner of the Agora Coffee House.
Almond said two female employees were working during the December robbery. One was sexually assaulted.
"After the assault, Almond said, 'No, I'm not going to quit. God brought me here and I'm not going to let Satan win.'"
Investigators also have linked Williams to the sexual assault of a Union High School student. Surveillance cameras captured an image after the girl said the subject sexually assaulted her on her walk to school from a nearby apartment complex.
"We had been looking at individuals that lived in that particular apartment complex or maybe lived in the area that matches the description and had records of doing some stuff like this," Mears said.
The crimes don't stop there. The Tulsa Police Department believes Williams burglarized and assaulted women at two other apartment complexes over the past three months.
"This is a good majority of the stranger cases we've had in the last few months," said Mears.
Mears said the arrest would not have been possible without a collaborative effort.
"Everybody did fantastic work on this, not just the sex crimes unit, but the robbery unit and the warrants guys. It was a team effort," Mears said.
Union High School said it appreciates the quick response by the police.
A spokesperson also said Williams was briefly enrolled as a 10th grade student in 2013, but he no longer attends school there.
