Tulsa Public School Superintendent Explains Decision To Cancel Classes

Tulsa Public Schools superintendent Dr. Keith Ballard talked with 6 In The Morning about the district's decision to cancel classes on Monday.

Tulsa Public Schools joined other area school districts like Jenks, Union, Sand Springs, Broken Arrow and Claremore and closed school on Monday.

Dr. Ballard said after talking with his staff and other school districts in Tulsa County, his decision on closing schools boiled down to safety of the students.
