A Broken Arrow freshman critically injured in a hit-and-run on Wednesday has undergone surgery on his leg.
School leaders from BA's North Intermediate High said they're waiting to hear how the surgery went.
A driver in a truck hit the 15-year-old boy while he was running during cross country practice.
Police said the impact broke the boy's leg and his pelvis.
Jordan Hunter, 18, returned to the scene later and reportedly admitted to police what he'd done.
He was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident
He is out of jail on bond.
