Tulsa Police said a search for a missing man had a happy ending early Thursday.
Officers said the 68-year-old man, which the family says suffers from early stages of dementia and lives in the 2500 block of West Fairview was reported missing Wednesday at 11 p.m.
After a three-hour search, an officer spotted the man walking in the 2700 block of South Memorial, over 10 miles from his home.
Tulsa Police took the man back home where EMSA paramedics checked him out.
Police said with the freezing wind chills, this story could have turned tragic. Officers say the man was only wearing pajamas and a light jacket and no cap.
