Tulsa police arrested a man for kidnapping Tuesday night when he reportedly locked a woman in a house and beat her after she refused to have sex with him.

Police arrested Michael Dean Robinson around 11 p.m. Tuesday, after responding to a call of a woman screaming for help inside a home.

Police say when they arrived, they could hear the woman screaming and she was trapped inside the house and had been beaten.

Reports say officers forcefully entered the home and got the woman out of the house. They say she had a black eye and bruising.

The woman said that Robinson, 57, punched her in the face and locked her in the house when she refused to have sex with him.

Police arrested Robinson later for kidnapping. Jail records show he is being held on a $30,000 bond.

Robinson is serving a suspended sentence after pleading guilty to assault and battery in 2013. Prosecutors have filed to revoke his probation after the newest arrest.
