We told you earlier this week about a man who was given probation instead of jail time for a home invasion robbery last summer, then was recently arrested for dragging a UPS driver out of her van.

Preston Merrihew went back before the same judge on Friday and was sentenced to 35 years in prison for the robbery and 15 for the burglary.

He must serve 85 percent of those sentences before being considered for parole.

The judge also threw in eight more years on a third charge.

If convicted of the UPS incident, he'll face even more time in prison.
