It was one year ago Tuesday, that four women were found shot to death at Tulsa's Fairmont Terrace Apartments.

Tuesday, attorneys for the two brothers charged in their murder went before a judge, asking that the public defender's office be disqualified from representing key witnesses in the case.

James and Cedric Poore have pleaded not guilty to murdering twins Rebecca Powell and Kayetie Melchor, along with Misty Nunley and Julie Jackson.

The brothers' attorneys argue the public defender's office can't represent multiple witnesses because of the chance their testimony could conflict with one another.

The judge expects to make a ruling on January 24th.
