Catoosa Police are investigating after a body was found on the Cherokee Hills golf course at about 8 a.m. Saturday. They don't suspect foul play in the death, according to Catoosa Police Chief Kevin McKim.
McKim said it's not clear what the 41-year-old man was doing on the golf course, but there were no obvious signs of trauma to the body. Police have requested surveillance video from the casino to see if they can learn anything from it.
The man's identity is being withheld pending notification of family.
McKim said the man was known to have a heart condition, but they won't know for sure what caused his death until that can be determined by the medical examiner's office.
The golf course is located near the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino just off Interstate 44 and North 193rd East Avenue.
