Tulsa Police arrest a man they believe stole a car and then ran from officers late Thursday.

Police were called to a QuikTrip at Admiral and Harvard when a friend of the car's owner spotted the car parked at the convenience store. As police officers and the police helicopter arrived on scene, Tulsa Police say Brandon Wade, 21, got in the car and drove off.

The chase ended in the 700 block of North Louisville when Wade crashed the car into another car.

Officers said Wade got out of the car and ran but a police K9 officer found in hiding behind a wood pile in the backyard of a nearby home.

Wade was booked into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of possession of a stolen vehicle, resisting arrest, having no driver's license and hit and run.

The jail listed his bond at $18,700. He has a court appearance set for January 10.
