News On 6 Radar The Weather Dog Seeks Votes To Help Animal Welfare

We've heard these stories before... big star goes back home and donates money to a good cause.

And Radar, our weather dog, is working on his national fame and fortune.

He's in a contest, and if he wins, it will mean lots of money for his charity, Tulsa Animal Welfare.

Radar went back to the shelter this week to check on where the money might go if he wins.

After all, the shelter is where the entire Radar story started, and it's why he's so interested in helping.

When we were looking for a dog that could help kids learn to be safe in severe weather, Radar stood out amongst the rest. And since, he's taught countless kids about weather safety.
