Eight people - including four children - have been displaced by a North Tulsa house fire, one of several on Sunday. This fire was in the 1500 block of North Vandalia.

"One of our fire trucks got waved down by a passerby, and they pointed to where the house fire was," said Captain Josh Rutledge, Tulsa Fire Department.

"The fire appears to have started on the outside, but the cause is under investigation right now."

Rutledge said the Tulsa Area Red Cross has been called in to help the families. There were no injuries.

"Busy day for the Tulsa Fire Department," Captain Rutledge said. The crew that was flagged down had been fighting a house fire on North Evanston.
