Police arrested a man and woman from Texas after a crash that happened as a result of a pursuit Tuesday afternoon.
The chase started after police saw a woman with pink hair standing up through the sunroof of a white Lexus, driving near Pine and Denver.
According to the arrest report, a patrol officer pulled up next to the Lexus and it took off.
Police chased the car for two miles, getting up to at least 72 miles per hour, until the Lexus turned West onto West Edison Street and rear ended a black Honda just west of Central High School.
Police said the white Lexus turned out to be stolen from Texas. They say the man and woman inside, 30-year-old Nathan Mungia and 28-year-old Amy Nelson, are also both from Texas. They arrested Mungia and Nelson on possession of a stolen vehicle and seatbelt violations.
Mungia was also booked into Tulsa County jail on complaints of eluding, resisting arrest, reckless driving, among other traffic related violations. He's also being held on a warrant for parole violation out of Texas.
Police say both Mungia and Nelson showed signs of being intoxicated.
Two women in the black Honda were hurt and police say they were transported with minor injuries.
