Drivers across eastern Oklahoma had to make their way to work Monday morning through fog as much of the area remained under a dense fog advisory until 11 a.m.

Osage SkyNews 6 Pilot Will Kavanagh took to the sky for an aerial view of the fog over Tulsa.

The fog made it difficult for drivers on area roads and also delayed dozen of flights into Tulsa International Airport since Sunday evening.

News On 6 reporter Tony Russell had his Sunday evening flight from Houston turned around while en route to Tulsa due to the fog. He is hoping to catch a flight to Tulsa Monday.

The National Weather Service said visibilities due to the fog were less to a quarter mile in some areas.
