Jay Police: Woman Ran Over, Killed Boyfriend During Fight

Police have identified the man found dead near a park Wednesday and have taken his girlfriend into custody.

The victim was Lynn Edward Foreman, 44, of Jay, according to police. A person found his body at about 7:30 a.m. Wednesday and called police.

Jay Police say they took Foreman's girlfriend, 33-year-old Stacy Lea McKinney, into custody in connection with the death. 

Police say McKinney and Foreman were arguing when McKinney ran over Foreman with the couple's van. Police say the couple had been drinking.

Officers say they're waiting for the results of the autopsy. Until they get those results, they're holding McKinney on a complaint of leaving the scene of a fatal accident.
