All 15 players on the active roster saw time on the court and 14 of the 15 scored as the Oral Roberts University men's basketball team rolled past Northwood 98-76 in an exhibition contest Saturday night at the Mabee Center.

ORU moved to a perfect 23-0 mark in exhibition games since 2002 with the victory.

Shawn Glover led the ORU onslaught with 26 points and 13 rebounds to lead all scorers in the game. With the remaining 72 points spread between 13 players, no one else was able to reach double figures for ORU, although Korey Billbury and Bobby Word came close with nine points apiece. ORU dominated the boards with 67 rebounds, holding a 67-38 advantage on the boards.

Although the stats don't count because it is an exhibition game, the 67 rebounds are the most on record since 1989 when ORU had 70 against LeMoyne-Owen, topping the 56 rebounds grabbed last year against Central Arkansas.

Northwood had three players score in double figures with B.J. Dale leading the charge with 15 points. Everrett Pleasant added 13 and Chase Franklin had 12 points. The Knights tallied 16 steals on 20 ORU turnovers.

"This was a typical exhibition game where it is a little bit ugly," said coach Scott Sutton. "I saw a lot of good and bad things that we need to work on. I was glad that we got to play everybody. I told the guys in the locker room that it's hard to play that way when you're substituting so freely like we did tonight."

Three-point shooting kept Northwood in the game early as they hung around, and even grabbed an 18-15 lead just over seven minutes into the game after hitting the fifth 3-pointer on the first seven attempts.

Northwood made it a 20-17 game with 11:54 to go in the half before the Golden Eagles outscored the Knights by a count of 34-13 to take a commanding 51-33 lead into halftime.

Out of the break, ORU scored five of the first seven points to take a 21-point lead, 56-35. It was the largest lead that the Golden Eagles would be able to muster until the waning minutes of the game as the Knights went to work and cut it to a 10 point game (76-66) with just under eight minutes to play.

David Mason's jumper with 1:53 to go in the game made it a 22 point game at 94-72 and Jorden Kaufman got on the board with a follow to make it a 24 point game.

ORU will finish the exhibition portion of the schedule with a Wednesday night date with Rogers State. Tip off from the Mabee Center is slated for 7 p.m. on November 6.
