Tulsa County sheriff's deputies are looking for two men who robbed others in west Tulsa early Thursday.
The incident occurred at a home in the 4300 block of South 49th West Avenue at about 1 a.m.
The residents told deputies two men knocked on the door and when they answered, the two forced their way inside and robbed them.Deputies said one of the men said he fired a handgun multiple times both inside and outside the home. Neither resident was hit or injured, according to deputies.
Based on information given to investigators, the incident was initially classified as a home invasion. By afternoon, it was determined no shots were fired and that the incident was drug-related, according to officials. Deputies also said the robbery happened outdoors, not inside the home.
Deputies said the pair got away with cash and personal items. The only description the victims gave deputies was the two men were driving a car with a loud exhaust.
