State Board Of Education Asks For Nearly $175M Increase For 2015 Budget

The State Board of Education signed off Tuesday on a $2.5 billion budget request for the 2015 fiscal year.

That's an increase of nearly $175 million over last year.

The budget asks for an additional $81 million in financial support for schools. The budget proposal goes before state legislators in February.
