Prosecutors filed charges Friday against a man accused of driving a truck stolen from a Rogers County veteran's locked garage.

We told you last week how veteran Gary Warren tracked down his stolen 2008 Dodge 3500, blocked it with his car, and sat with suspect Pedro Carmona until police came.

Carmona was charged Friday with possession of a stolen vehicle and carrying a weapon unlawfully.

Warren, who lost his leg serving in the Army in Vietnam, said Carmona begged him to just take the truck and let him go.

"He's sitting there in my seat with a 9 mm on his hip. He didn't reach for it. He was more scared of me than I was of him," Warren said.

According to Warren, Carmona said a friend who owed him $7,000 had given him the truck.
