Sapulpa Police Question Woman In Stabbing On Mockingbird Lane

Sapulpa emergency services have responded to a reported stabbing Sunday morning.<br />

Sapulpa Police are questioning a woman in a stabbing on West Mockingbird Lane. Officers were called to the home located between Main and Cedar Streets at 7:22 a.m. Sunday.

Police say a man in his late 50s to early 60s was stabbed in the head. He also reportedly had defensive wounds to his hands.

The victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to be OK.

The woman suspected of stabbing him is about the same age, police report.

Police have taped off the residence on Mockingbird between Main and Cedar Streets as they investigate the crime.

Creek County Ambulance and Sapulpa Fire Department also responded to the house early Sunday.
