Man Charged With Robbing BA Elderly Couple At Knifepoint

Prosecutors filed charges Tuesday against a man police say held an elderly Broken Arrow couple at knifepoint.

Last Tuesday, officers say Michael Lank came in through an unlocked door, pulled a knife and ransacked the couple's home. He is charged with first degree robbery, robbery with a dangerous weapon, assault while masked or disguised and first degree burglary.

The couple's grandchildren say it was traumatizing for the couple. They say Lank threw their 83-year-old grandmother to the floor and put a knife to their 84-year-old grandfather's throat.

A tip from someone who saw what had happened on social media led police to Lank.
