Tulsa Man Booked For DUI After Injury Wreck

A Tulsa man was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol after a collision at 71st and Sheridan early Sunday. Keith Everett Lemmon, 52, was booked on a misdemeanor complaint of driving under the influence, first offense.

Lemmon was driving a Nissan Frontier pickup that hit a white Jeep Wrangler, which was stopped for the light on southbound Sheridan at 1:45 a.m. The woman driving the Jeep was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.

Police say Lemmon smelled strongly of alcoholic beverages and had red blood shot eyes.

According to an arrest report, officers did not test his standing and walking abilities because he was leaning against his pickup to avoid falling.
