Tulsa Police Find More Remains After Human Skull Discovered

Tulsa police found more skeletal remains and some clothing in the woods near where a skull was found earlier this week.

Tulsa police rookies joined crime scene investigators and homicide detectives in Friday's search.

Two boys found the skull in their west Tulsa yard earlier this week. Police believe an animal brought it there.

Investigators say the skull showed signs of trauma, which leads them to believe the victim was murdered.

While detectives are confident the skull belongs to a missing Tulsa man, they're glad they found more remains.

"It's going to be for the family, when we do make positive identification on the skull," said Sgt. Dave Walker.

The medical examiner will confirm the identity and cause of death.
