Prosecutors Thursday charged a Tulsa robbery suspect, who police say mistakenly shot and killed his own partner.

Elbert Hendrickson faces charges of first degree murder, shooting with intent to kill, robbery with a firearm, and possession of a controlled substance.

Police say Hendrickson and Aaron Warner robbed a man at an east Tulsa motel on September 19, 2013. The victim fought back and detectives said, during the confusion, Hendrickson shot Warner.

Warner ended up at his girlfriend's house. She helped get him to a hospital where he died.

Two others, Christina Renfro, 35, and Jason Clark, 39, are charged as accessories in the case. They are each being held in the Tulsa County jail on $500,000 bond.
