Tulsa Police: Overnight Rain A Factor In Several Crashes

Rainfall overnight in Tulsa left roadways wet and police say a car and pickup truck crash early Friday near 31st and Garnett can be attributed in part to road conditions.

Police say the pickup's driver lost control leading to a crash with the car at about 3 a.m. Officers said no one involved in the crash was seriously hurt.

Earlier another crash damaged a gas meter near 31st and Mingo.

Police say whoever was driving, apparently lost control, struck a wooden fence then the gas meter at about 2 a.m.

The vehicle was gone by the time the Tulsa Fire Department arrived on scene.

ONG had to be called to fix the meter.
