Police: Man Claims He Was Robbed, Shot At Outside Tulsa Motel

Police are sorting out what happened outside a Tulsa motel in the 8500 block of East Skelly Drive Thursday after getting a call about shots fired just before 8 a.m.

A man told officers two men wearing black ski masks forced their way into his Georgetown Motel room and took several items.

The victim said he chased after the two men and got into a fight.  During the struggle, the victim said one of the men shot at him, but missed.

Witnesses told police the two men got into a red Ford Mustang and drove west on Skelly Drive.

Tulsa Police said they recovered several items reportedly stolen by the pair and some shell casings.

Police are still investigating.
