Glenpool Woman Maintains Her Innocence As Child Porn Trial Begins

Jury selection began Tuesday afternoon in the trial of a Glenpool grandmother. Sally Deupree is charged with possession of child pornography and manufacturing child pornography.

Two other people in the same case, pleaded guilty to multiple charges and were both sentenced to more than 50 years in prison.

Before the jury was brought to the courtroom, the judge asked the prosecutor if they had offered Sally Deupree a plea bargain, and they said they had not. Then, he asked Deupree if she wanted to plead guilty and she said, absolutely not, she wanted a trial, so the jury was brought upstairs.

Sally Deupree was scooped up in the investigation of Ricky Lewis.

Police say he had tens of thousands of images of child porn. He placed ads on Craigslist as a way to befriend people, then started talking to them about sex acts with children, requesting to exchange naked photos of kids.

He pleaded guilty and was sent to prison for 60 years.

Court records show Brittiny Dick responded to his ad and ended up sending him a naked picture of her little girl. She pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 51 years in prison.

Police say Deupree received photos from Lewis, of a nude 2-year-old girl, then texted with him about sexual activity involving the child, asking him to videotape it and send it to her. Prosecutors say no such video was ever discovered or sent.

Deupree has been out on bond, wearing an ankle monitor and ordered to stay away from children.

She has maintained her innocence and now, almost a year after her arrest, will have a chance for her side of the story to be heard.

Both Lewis and Dick are expected to testify at Deupree's trial.

Now, the fate of this Glenpool grandmother is in the hands of a jury of her peers.
