A Tulsa man waived his right to a jury trial and pleaded no contest Monday to a first-degree manslaughter charge stemming from an August 2010 crash.

Tulsa Police say Cody Zimmer, 24, was driving an SUV on Highway 11 near Pine when he crossed the center median and struck a car head-on. The driver of the car died.

The Tulsa County District Attorney's office filed the charge against Zimmer seven months later after blood test results showed he had several medications including the anti-anxiety drug Xanax, muscle relaxer Flexeril and sedative Ambien in his system.
