Tulsa Man Arrested On Meth Possession Warrant

Tulsa Police arrested a man with an outstanding felony warrant during a traffic stop. Jesse Robert Muniz is being held on a $100,000 bond for possession of methamphetamine.

Officers say they pulled over a vehicle in the 2300 block of East 59th Street at about 1 p.m. Sunday. Muniz was a passenger in the vehicle, according to a news release.

He denied having anything to do with methamphetamine when officers questioned him about his outstanding warrant, the release states.

Muniz "tensed up as if to try and run or fight, but he was quickly caught," according to police. The 31-year-old Tulsa man is in the Tulsa County Jail.
