Tulsa-Area Shelter Pets In The Spotlight At Woofstock

Billed as the area's largest pet adoption event, Woofstock took place Saturday at the Jenks Riverwalk Crossing. People looking for a new four-legged friend turned out to meet animals from almost two dozen rescue groups.

Radar the News On 6 Weather Dog, a one-time shelter pup, was on scene to meet his fans and do his part for animal rescue.

All animals adopted at Woofstock got a free micro-chip and ID tag. There was music, pet-friendly vendors and even an animal communicator to tell people what is on their pet's mind.
