The City of Tulsa is honoring a landscaping and tree service company that gave up its time to help residents with free debris removal.

Todd Rickert of Rickert Landscaping received the award in Owasso today.

We showed you this weekend how his company was picking up downed limbs in Tulsa neighborhoods and disposing of them at no cost.

Rickert said helping out has actually helped him.

"I've definitely had a lot of customers, you know, hear about what's happened, have us come out look out work and opportunities for new projects because of it."

The City of Tulsa has been working six days a week to clean up after the July storm.

Rickert says his company will be helping out again on Saturday.
