A fire on a balcony of a Tulsa apartment complex early Wednesday damaged at least two units.

The Tulsa Fire Department got the call at 3:50 a.m. to the Cobblestone Apartments near 51st and Memorial.

Firefighters said the fire was confined to the one apartment, but they had to punch a hole in a wall of the apartment next door to let smoke escape.

Two residents in the first apartment escaped the fire and were not hurt.

Rebecca Gunter thanked firefighters and her neighbors for getting her out of her apartment safely.

"I love the fire department," Gunter said. Click on the video above to watch her emotional description of her escape.

Fire officials say the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
